Telemarketer – New Business Generation Associate

Duties and Responsibilities?
We are looking for a new business generation associate to join our San Francisco office. This position will play a vital role in the generation of new business for the firm through lead generation activity, focusing on generating business for our financial services division. This position involves a significant amount of outbound calls to rospects who are current Heffernan clients. The job duties include:

  • Call database of warm prospects which is comprised of businesses and/or private individuals by telephone / email.
  • Uncover needs and stimulate interest
  • Follow up on direct mail and email campaigns
  • Schedule appointments for advisors to meet with prospective customers or for customers to attend sales presentations.
  • Manage lead follow up and track all activity in client management system, Junxure.
  • Obtain customer information such as name, address, etc, and enter/update information in Junxure.
  • Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals.
  • Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been contacted.
  • Conduct client or market surveys in order to obtain information about potential customers.
  • Schedule webinars.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
  • Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment

Registered Investment Advisor

We are looking for an experienced registered investment advisor with a book of business of $50 million to $125 million AUM. The ideal candidate will have a proven consultative track record as a registered investment advisor and have experience with a wide range of financial products including retail brokerage, insurance, retirement plans, tax-advantaged solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate key prospects.
  • Understand the client’s investment goals and objectives.
  • Advise clients on asset allocation and portfolio construction.
  • Develop investment policy statements in line with client goals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience as a registered investment advisor.
  • Superior marketing skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, practicable terms.
  • Strong knowledge of investment concepts, practice and procedures used in the securities industry.
  • Excellent oral, written and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Financial Advisor

Job Description

This position is responsible for developing a client base of individuals and families for Heffernan Financial Services (HFS). You will be expected to cold call and cross sell to new and current Heffernan clients offering our financial services. You will be responsible for developing communication pieces, organize webinars, and assist with individual investment review meetings for our senior investment advisors. Our organization provides you with the tools and strategies needed to build a client base of high net worth individuals and sustain long-term relationships with those clients.

Specific Duties:

  • Business development and marketing representative.
  • Contact all HIB clients to offer HFS products and services.
  • Coordinate direct mail campaigns with follow-up calls and schedule meetings.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of clients’ financials and help evaluate vendors’ performance.
  • Discuss with clients their net worth statements, cash flow analysis, risk tolerance, expected returns, asset allocation recommendations, and development of client investment policy statement.
  • Assist in developing and preparing vender seminars and webinars.
  • Create a process to solicit to HIB producers and meet with them regularly to cross sell HFS.
  • Attend renewal meetings with P&C Producers.
  • Develop strategic relationships with accountants, lawyers, banks, etc.
  • Develop and manage marketing outreach, including public relations, communications and events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Previous financial sales experience desired.
  • Basic knowledge of financial planning investment strategy and structure required.
  • Series 7 preferred.
  • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint a plus.
  • Ability to work with vendors, legal representatives, traders and fund accountants on resolution of exceptions.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects in a highly regulated environment.

Financial Planner and Life Insurance Advisor

Job Description

This position is responsible for developing a client base of individuals, families, and businesses for Heffernan Financial Services. You will be responsible for cross-selling to our current HIB customers and offering high level financial planning, tax advise, and a variety of wealth transfer vehicles, such as estate planning, wills, trusts, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, business succession planning, asset management and executive benefits and non-qualified retirement plans. You will be working with our investment advisors, assisting with client relationships and various marketing projects.

Specific Duties:

  • Complete financial planning reviews
  • Mitigate tax liabilities for all HIB clients
  • Cash flow analysis
  • Identify clients’ risk tolerance levels
  • Assist with asset allocation
  • Business development and marketing representative
  • Help develop client investment policy statements
  • Attend renewal meetings with HIB producers
  • Develop strategic relationships with accountants, lawyers, banks, etc.
  • Assist in the preparation, coordination, and promotion or investment seminars
  • Coordinate direct mail campaigns with follow up calls
  • Other special projects as assigned

Qualifications:
